If your troop follows the BSA recommended schedule then this patch changes every 6 months. If your boy starts scouting in the 5th grade that means the office patch gets changed 16 times before he turns 18! And now that the patch goes on another pocket, well you can imagine how easy that is going to be. Once again Switch 'Em makes easy work of that process.

If the troop makes Switch 'Em patches part of the uniform then elections are made all the easier. Everyone turns in their office patch at the beginning of the meeting, you have elections and when the votes have been tallied, each boy puts his new office right on the uniform. One scout master told me it has taken some boys 4 months to get their new office patches on. With Switch 'Em patches there is no waiting for one to come off and the new one to be put on!

For families, just machine stitch the new office patch to the hook and you are ready to go. You won't even need the uniform near the needle and thread!
